We are very very happy with the work of Mary Forde and Mary Devlin. They handled our stressful complicated condo sale amazingly as well as finding us an amazing house. And all while being just wonderful to work with. Above and beyond what other agents would have done, I'm sure, plus bonus watching   our 3 year old (who loves the Marys) outside the the closing so we could sign. They know the greater Boston area extremely well and most importantly really listen to what you are looking for. In a fast market like this one that is so key to not missing the boat on the best fit houses. We are really grateful that we worked with them and couldn't recommend them enough

Mary was a wonderful source of expertise and emotional support as I went through the difficult process of selling my parents' long time home after their deaths. She has mastered the process of selling a house and was extremely responsive and timely in all her communications. Mary follows through  on whatever she says she is going to do, She has a wide local network of services providers who helped with small painting, carpentry, and plumbing tasks. She has an impressive knowledge of Dedham and the surrounding area's schools, churches, transportation system and retail shops. Mary quickly and skillfully negotiated a fair price for the property...again keeping me informed at every point in the discussion. It was a real pleasure to work with Mary and I would highly recommend her.

 I have no hesitation in recommending Mary Devlin to anyone looking for a top-notch real estate professional. She has helped not only us, but other family members, find, negotiate and buy beautiful homes. Her contacts for mortgage companies, lawyers and inspections are the best. She also has  multiple contacts for after the purchase if you need anything fixed, changed, upgraded or cleaned. We have used several contractors for the multiple properties we have purchased over the years and they have proven to be most reliable and reasonably priced. She has also found us responsible and reliable tenants for our two-family we purchased in 2016. I don’t know what we would do without her! I have had to deal with out of state real estate agents and Mary is by far the best I have ever dealt with. Her professionalism, attention to details, and communication have made our closings go smoothly, fast and worry free!

Mary was really wonderful to work with and very patient with us as we checked out house after house, before finally finding "the one"! Her knowledge of the neighborhoods we were searching in (West Roxbury, Dedham) was extremely helpful in helping assess the values of homes. After a short time, she had a pretty good idea of what we wanted and didn't want in a home and was helpful in screening out homes that we would not be serious about. She was very responsive too and worked around our schedule when we needed her to. I would recommend Mary Devlin to anyone looking to buy in the areas she specializes in!

Mary was excellent she guided us through the whole process I don't we had to call her once she constantly kept us updated and checking in to answer our questions. We sold our home through another agent in a different town and Mary helped us more with that sale than the agent we were paying. I cannot recommend Mary enough you will be happy and extremely satisfied if you choose her for your real estate transactions.

Mary helped us purchase a single family home in Dedham. She was amazing. Within hours of calling her she had located numerous home that fit our criteria and worked within our schedule to show them all to us. She worked tirelessly to get all the questions we had answered from sellers and agents. When we found the house we loved, she guided us through the whole process, start to finish. She was proactive and had amazing follow through on everything. She had a great intuition on all the homes we looked at and had research to back it up. All the interactions that we had with her and that she had with the agents were of he highest proffesionalism. I highly recommend using Mary Devlin as your realtor.

We were first time home buyers in Boston. After having worked with a couple of brokers that left us quite concerned about the quality of the professionals, we accidentally found Kris and Mary. Kris was excellent with deep insights of the industry and sector. Mary was the person who actually ended up doing the leg work and worked closely with us.She was God sent and because of her we were able to find a great place that met practically all our expectations. She provided speedy response to our questions. She asked us thoughtful questions and never pressured us to go beyond our budget. We were also very impressed with her negotiation skills. In the process of making the offer, we were planning to offer more given the competitive nature of the market in Boston. However, she advised us not to and the sellers accepted the offer. What can we say about Mary Devlin? GODSEND. Lovely person… a TRUE real estate professional. It doesn’t get better than Mary Devlin I promise. She knows her stuff people! We were pretty clueless and completely unprepared for selling a house and finding another. She genuinely cared that our family got what we needed for our house and found the new home of our dreams. She worked extremely hard to make both of those things happen! She was with us every step of the way with the sale of our home in West Roxbury and the purchase of a new one in Norwood. She did everything to make what could have been an especially stressful transition a smooth one! She was always available when we had questions, she continuously had new homes for us to look at and gave us stellar advice. She is a no nonsense negotiator and knows what to look for. Personal recommendation of our Realtor Mary Devlin. My husband and I lived in a townhouse after we were married and were looking to sell that property and purchase our first ‘real’ home together. It seemed like such a daunting and overwhelming task that we kept putting it off, until finally it could wait no longer. But we were clueless as to what to do. When my husband bought our townhouse he did all the work on his own: researching, viewing, setting up visits etc…and the realtor showed up at the closing to collect their commission. So, as two very busy professionals with hectic scheduled we were drawing straws as to who would actually do the leg work. But, luck shined down on us and we found Mary. From start to finish, because of Mary, the process that we dreaded and had nightmares about was exciting and produced a result better that we could have imagined. First Mary met with us. In a very relaxed conversation she asked us questions that helped us figure out what we wanted (trust me, we didn’t even know what we didn’t know!) and more importantly she listened. She REALLY listened….and within hours she started sending us listings that she had already reviewed and narrowed down as potentials. Also, she did this based on what we now know is a ridiculous area of interest: We weren’t sure where we would land, so we looking in a radius of approximately 60 miles…yes, we were crazy. But she didn’t blink, and before we knew it we had open houses set up all over…and she worked with us not only to find the house of our dreams, but to understand the ins and outs of neighborhood and all the ‘other’ stuff. So, that was the buying part… Then there’s the selling part. Mary is magic. She set a date for our open house and she told us what to do. We spend a day of storing and purging and then we disappeared for a day while Mary worked her magic. We came home to a house that was staged to look better than it ever had. It looked so nice we considered staying for a half second… So, the open house and a few following private showings (all of which Mary handled without a blink…she even took care of the handling our dogs while the viewings happened!) we had an offer accepted and our house search heated up! By that time Mary really had a feel for what we wanted, and she would send us an agenda for an upcoming Sunday of open houses and before we even began she was able to tell us what she already ruled out because she knew we wouldn’t like the street, the neighbors, the yard…etc.etc.etc. She’s a goddess. Finally, we found a home…or we thought we did: our sale was still in process (and Mary was already going above and beyond to assist the seller in all aspects that their realtor couldn’t help them with regarding mortgage approval!) We made an offer and it was accepted…and after a 3+ hour inspection we decided it wasn’t what we wanted. We called Mary and she simply said, no worries we keep looking. She did not pressure us, she was completely candid and honest and she continued the search. The search continued and we found the perfect home: and days later when we left the country for a preplanned trip we just crossed our fingers that everything would work out. It was touch and go for a bit as the seller’s agent was not completely upfront, however they were out of their league trying to pull a fast one over on Mary: She negotiated like a boss and we not only got our home for less than we expected, but she worked it out so that our sale and purchase would work with our crazy schedule. And what happened the day of in the hectic hassle of packing and moving??? Mary did our walk through and went to our sale, and then showed up at our house to help box things up and make sure we were all set. In short, Mary was always in our corner – and having that sort of support is crucial during the process of buying a home. Without hesitation and with tremendous enthusiasm we recommend Mary based on her professionalism, her efforts, her knowledge and expertise, and her skill. Mary Devlin helped us sell our home and also helped with the purchase of our new home . We were so fortunate to have someone like Mary helping us with this stressful process . Mary came in and staged our home and did a fantastic job . Mary is such a great realtor and her experience is telling , she went above and beyond in so may ways that I often wonder how she has the patience to do what she does ! My wife and I will be forever grateful to her for helping us really make our dream a reality .
